Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has reassured fans that she is recovering well after sustaining a muscle tear in her left leg while shooting a high-energy Lavani sequence for her upcoming film Eetha. The 38-year-old actor, who gained over 15 kilograms to portray a young version of legendary Lavani performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar, injured herself during an intense dance routine featuring rapid footwork to dholki beats, dressed in a traditional Nauvari saree and heavy jewelry.
In an Instagram AMA session on November 23, 2025, Shraddha shared a light-hearted video of her plastered leg and wrote, “Terminator ki tarah ghoom rahi hoon. Muscle tear hai. Theek ho jaayega. Bas thoda rest karna hai, but I’ll be absolutely fine.” She confirmed that doctors have advised rest and that she is already back on her feet, albeit with support, while continuing to monitor her recovery.
Directed by her boyfriend Rahul Mody, Eetha is described by Shraddha as a start-up drama steeped in hustle culture, marking a deliberate shift toward more challenging and active roles. “For me, it’s a new kind of role, and it’s challenging. I am now consciously deciding to take on roles where I am challenged as an actor,” she told fans. The film features music by Ajay-Atul and is one of two projects she has already completed, though the second remains unannounced.

Shooting for Eetha is expected to resume once she receives medical clearance.
