Singer Shaan and his wife Radhika Mukherjee have purchased a luxury residence in Mumbai's Bandra West for Rs 48 crore. The property, measuring around 6,300 square feet, is located in the Palmera complex on Turner Road near St Martin's Road. The transaction was officially registered on August 20 and adds another high-value deal to Mumbai's luxury residential property market.

The residence has reportedly been created by combining three separate apartments spread across approximately one-and-a-half floors on the 18th level of the building. The transaction was handled by Propbay India LLP. The Palmera project was developed by Pantheion Real Estate and stands on the site of a bungalow that previously belonged to veteran actor Mala Sinha.

The 22-floor development features luxury amenities, including a swimming pool and a bar located on the 23rd floor. However, sources cited in reports indicated that the project is still awaiting its Occupancy Certificate, a regulatory approval required before a building can be formally occupied. The property has therefore attracted attention not only because of its value and size but also because of its location in one of Mumbai's prominent luxury residential areas.

The Bandra purchase also carries personal significance for Shaan, whose late father and musician Manas Mukherjee had lived in the area. The family's longstanding association with Bandra adds another dimension to the singer's decision to acquire a home there. The new property on Turner Road continues that connection while marking a major investment in the city.

The property purchase comes as Shaan has also returned to work with actor Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades. The singer has lent his voice to the song "Mera Hero Hai Woh" from the upcoming film "Haiwaan". Shaan has described his association with Saif as special and expressed excitement about collaborating with him again after their previous work together.

"Haiwaan", directed by Priyadarshan, also stars Akshay Kumar alongside Saif Ali Khan. Shaan's latest musical collaboration and the purchase of his new Bandra residence come as the singer continues to remain active in the entertainment industry while adding a high-value property to his Mumbai assets.
