Bollywood actor Sangeeta Bijlani discovered a shocking scene at her farmhouse in Maval, Pune, when she visited the property near Pawna Dam after a four-month absence. The main door was shattered, window grills were damaged, and the interior was left in disarray, with valuable items stolen and others destroyed.
In her complaint to Pune Rural Police, Bijlani reported that a television set was stolen, another was broken, and household items, including beds and a refrigerator, were either missing or vandalized. The farmhouse’s CCTV system was also damaged. Bijlani, who had been unable to visit due to her father’s health issues, described the upper floor as “completely ransacked” in her statement to Superintendent of Police Sandip Singh Gill.
“I was stunned to see the main door broken and the chaos inside,” Bijlani said, recounting her visit with two staff members.
