The 90-year-old was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday and underwent a minor medical procedure on Wednesday.
Salim Khan, renowned for co-creating the iconic “Angry Young Man” persona with Javed Akhtar in the 1970s for Amitabh Bachchan’s films, is being closely monitored by a team of doctors. According to Dr. Jalil Parkar, the veteran writer’s condition is currently “stable,” and there are hopes he may be taken off the ventilator as early as tomorrow.
