Actor Ravi Mohan, formerly known as Jayam Ravi, is back in the spotlight — not only for launching his own production house but also for his personal life making news once again.
On Tuesday morning, the actor inaugurated Ravi Mohan Studios at the Chennai Trade Centre, a significant milestone in his career. But it was his visit to the Tirupati temple a day before, accompanied by singer and spiritual healer Keneeshaa Francis, that set social media abuzz. Photographs of the couple from the temple quickly went viral, showing them posing together before the sacred shrine.
Almost simultaneously, Ravi’s estranged wife Aarti Ravi shared a cryptic post on Instagram, which read: “You can’t fool God. You might fool others. You might even fool yourself. But you can’t fool God.” The timing of her message drew immediate attention, leading many to speculate if it was directed at her estranged husband.

The couple’s troubled marriage has been unfolding publicly for over a year. On May 21, Ravi and Aarti filed separate petitions at the Family Court. While Ravi pressed for divorce, Aarti sought ₹40 lakh as monthly alimony and opposed his claims. During the hearing, Ravi also requested the court to dismiss Aarti’s plea for cohabitation. The matter was adjourned to June 12 for further consideration.
Ravi first made headlines in 2024 when he announced the end of his marriage with Aarti, stating the decision was reached after “much thought and reflection.” Aarti, however, countered that the move was taken “without her consent.” Their separation became further complicated when Ravi officially dropped his screen name Jayam Ravi, choosing to be known as Ravi Mohan.
Born to veteran film editor A Mohan, Ravi has carved a strong place in Tamil cinema with hits like Jayam, Daas, Mazhai, Bommarillu, Peranmai, Romeo Juliet, Bhoomi, and Siren. Meanwhile, Aarti, daughter of television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, has largely remained away from the industry spotlight. Together, they share two sons, Aarav and Ayaan.
As Ravi takes bold steps with his new studio venture and continues his personal journey, the actor’s family life remains a matter of public curiosity — especially with Aarti’s cryptic posts keeping fans guessing.
