Nolan, along with producer Emma Thomas and actors Matt Damon and Tom Holland, attended a press conference in Mumbai where he spoke about his long-standing connection with India and his admiration for the country's deep-rooted cinema culture.

He said Indian audiences have a unique appreciation for cinema and expressed his excitement at finally being able to bring his film promotion to Mumbai.
The director revealed that a visit to India had also been planned during the release campaign for Tenet, which was partly filmed in Mumbai, but those plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
