Automobili Lamborghini has officially brought the Huracan era to a close in India with the delivery of its final unit, marking the end of a decade-long run for one of the brand’s most iconic super sports cars. The milestone delivery signals the conclusion of Huracan sales in the country after 10 years of consistent presence and popularity among Indian supercar enthusiasts.
Introduced globally in 2014 with the Huracan LP 610-4, the V10-powered model quickly became a cornerstone of Lamborghini’s lineup. In India, the Huracan played a central role in strengthening the Italian automaker’s footprint, appealing to buyers with its sharp wedge-shaped design, naturally aspirated engine, and balance between everyday usability and extreme performance.
Over its lifecycle, Lamborghini delivered a total of 252 Huracan units in India across multiple variants. Each version carried the brand’s performance-focused DNA, making the Huracan one of Lamborghini’s most versatile and best-selling models in the market. Its success mirrored the car’s global reputation as a modern classic in the supercar segment.

The final car delivered in India was the Huracan Tecnica, a variant positioned between the standard Huracan and the more track-focused Huracan STO. The Tecnica is powered by a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 631 bhp and features advanced technologies such as rear-wheel steering, improved aerodynamics, and chassis refinements designed for both road and track use.
With the Huracan now phased out, Lamborghini is shifting its focus toward the future with the upcoming Temerario. The new model is set to feature a hybrid powertrain, aligning with the company’s broader global strategy of moving toward electrified high-performance vehicles while retaining its signature driving excitement.
The transition from the Huracan to the Temerario marks a significant evolution for Lamborghini in India, closing a successful chapter defined by raw V10 performance and opening a new era shaped by hybrid technology and next-generation engineering.
