Bajaj Auto is preparing an update for its entry-level sporty commuter, the Pulsar NS125, with changes to its instrument cluster and colour options ahead of its expected 2026 launch. The updated motorcycle has reportedly been spotted at dealerships in near-production form, following recent updates to other Pulsar models including the NS400Z, NS200 and classic Pulsar 125.

The most noticeable change is the instrument console. The current negative LCD unit is expected to be replaced by a full-colour LCD screen, bringing the NS125 closer to other recently updated Pulsar models. The update is part of Bajaj's broader effort to introduce newer displays and styling elements across its 125cc to 400cc motorcycle range.

There is also speculation that a higher variant could receive the 5-inch TFT display already available on models such as the N160 SS, higher variants of the classic Pulsar 125 and 150, NS200 and NS400Z. Such a setup could bring features including Google Maps mirroring and connected functions to the upper variants of the NS125, although the exact equipment and variant-wise specifications have not been confirmed.

The motorcycle is also expected to receive new colour combinations. Spotted examples include black with red, black with neon green and black with grey, along with updated graphics. The changes are intended to bring the NS125's appearance closer to the styling direction of Bajaj's newer Pulsar models while retaining its sporty commuter positioning.

Mechanically, the 2026 Pulsar NS125 is expected to remain largely unchanged. It is likely to continue using the 124.45cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC four-valve engine, which produces around 12 hp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox and gives the motorcycle a slight output advantage over the updated classic Pulsar 125.

The current Pulsar NS125 is priced at Rs 99,622 ex-showroom, while the N125 starts at Rs 92,270 and the updated classic Pulsar 125 is priced at around Rs 92,900. The new display and other updates could result in a price revision, although the final pricing has not been confirmed. With motorcycles already reportedly reaching dealerships, the formal launch and deliveries are expected to follow soon.
