Samsung unveils the Galaxy S26 lineup on February 25 with Snapdragon power and upgraded cameras.
Samsung is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, scheduled for February 25 in San Francisco, California. The lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26, alongside the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. The devices will be available in India via the company’s official online store and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. Samsung has confirmed that at least one device in the series will feature a Snapdragon chipset, while other technical details have surfaced through leaks and reports.
Pricing details for the Galaxy S26 series have not been officially revealed, though leaks suggest a notable increase compared to last year’s S25 lineup. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to start at around Rs. 113,000 for the 256GB model, while the 512GB variant could cost about Rs. 126,000. The Galaxy S26+ may retail at approximately Rs. 94,000 for the base variant and Rs. 104,000 for the higher storage option. The standard Galaxy S26 could be priced between Rs. 82,000 and Rs. 92,000, depending on storage configurations. Colour options are expected to include White, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Black for all three models.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to retain the pill-shaped rear camera module seen in previous models. The Ultra model may feature a quad-camera setup with a sensor positioned outside the main module, while the S26 and S26+ could carry triple rear cameras. All three models are anticipated to have a hole-punch front camera, thin bezels, and flat metal frames with power and volume buttons on the right side. The S-Pen stylus on the Ultra model may be slightly redesigned, featuring a curved top and thinner tip.

All models may support up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and include Corning Gorilla Armour 2 protection. The Ultra could also feature Samsung’s recently introduced Privacy Screen.
Performance-wise, the S26 and S26+ are likely to run on Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the Ultra is expected to carry a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy SoC with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The devices will ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.5, offering a smooth and feature-rich user experience. Camera configurations are expected to include a 12-megapixel front camera across all models, with the Ultra boasting a 200-megapixel main sensor and multiple telephoto and ultrawide lenses.
Battery capacities are anticipated to range from 4,300mAh in the standard model to 5,000mAh in the Ultra, with wired fast-charging speeds of 25W, 45W, and 60W, respectively.
