Oppo has officially confirmed the India launch date for its upcoming flagship smartphones, the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s, both of which will debut on May 21. The two devices will expand the company’s Find X9 series in India and will focus heavily on advanced imaging technology developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.
The highlight of the lineup is the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, which features an aggressive camera system aimed at professional-grade photography and videography. It includes a 200MP main sensor, a 200MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP 10x periscope telephoto lens, offering high flexibility for both standard and long-range shooting. The device also supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K 120fps recording across main and telephoto cameras, positioning it as a content creation-focused flagship.
Under the hood, the Find X9 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a large 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. To manage heat during intensive workloads such as high-resolution video capture and gaming, Oppo has included a 3D Cryo-velocity Cooling System with an encapsulated thermal unit and vapour chamber architecture, designed to maintain sustained performance under load.

The second device, the Find X9s, offers a slightly toned-down but still premium imaging setup. It comes with a triple 50MP Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system, along with support for dual-video capture and 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording across all cameras. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset built on a 3nm process, combined with Oppo’s Trinity Engine and an advanced vapour chamber cooling system for thermal efficiency.
The Find X9s also features a large 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery housed in a relatively slim 7.99 mm chassis, balancing endurance with design efficiency. Pricing and availability details for both smartphones will be announced at the launch event, with expectations high given the emphasis on high-end camera hardware and next-generation performance capabilities.
