Realme 16T 5G India Launch Confirmed With 8,000mAh Battery Power

Realme has officially confirmed the launch details of its upcoming smartphone, the Realme 16T 5G, which is set to debut in India next week along with key specifications, colour options, and battery features.The company announced that the Realme 16T 5G will be launched in India on May 22 at 12 noon. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme’s official online store. It will also join the existing Realme 16 series lineup, which includes the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+.

Ahead of its launch, Realme has revealed that the device will be offered in three colour variants — Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and a blue colour option. Dedicated microsites for the smartphone have already gone live on both Realme’s official website and e-commerce platforms, signalling the start of its pre-launch promotional phase.One of the biggest highlights of the Realme 16T 5G is its massive 8,000mAh Titan battery, which the company claims is designed for long-lasting performance.

Realme has stated that the battery is engineered to maintain up to seven years of health, positioning it as a durability-focused feature for long-term users.The company further claims that the device can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge under standard conditions. In terms of specific usage benchmarks, Realme has highlighted up to 14.3 hours of gaming, 34 hours of social media scrolling, and 21.9 hours of navigation on a full charge.

To complement its large battery, the smartphone will support 45W fast charging along with reverse charging and bypass charging capabilities. These features are aimed at improving charging efficiency while also allowing the device to function as a power source for other gadgets.With its combination of a high-capacity battery, multiple colour options, and extended endurance claims, the Realme 16T 5G is positioned as a performance-focused mid-range smartphone ahead of its official launch in the Indian market.
