OnePlus N6x India Launch Date, Price and Specifications Revealed

OnePlus is set to expand its affordable N-series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x on July 31. Positioned below the recently introduced OnePlus N6, the upcoming handset is expected to target entry-level buyers with a large battery, high-refresh-rate display and familiar OnePlus design language. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Amazon and the OnePlus India online store, with the company confirming two colour options—Burgundy Red and Ice Blue.

The company has scheduled the launch for July 31 at 12 pm IST, although it has not yet announced whether the unveiling will take place through a dedicated launch event or a soft launch. If a live event is held, it is expected to be streamed on OnePlus' official YouTube channel and social media platforms. Ahead of the launch, the company has already published teaser pages revealing several key features and confirming the handset's availability.

While the official price remains under wraps, industry reports suggest the OnePlus N6x could be priced at around ₹20,000, placing it below the OnePlus N6. For comparison, the OnePlus N6 debuted in India at ₹22,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model was launched at ₹24,999. Final pricing and available storage configurations will be announced during the official launch event.

In terms of design, the OnePlus N6x is expected to feature a textured flat rear panel with a pill-shaped camera module similar to recent Nord-series smartphones. It will also retain a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the power button and volume controls will be positioned on the right edge. The smartphone is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and animations for everyday use.

Performance details have not been officially confirmed, but leaks indicate the device could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6000-series processor paired with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The phone is expected to feature a single 50-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. OnePlus has not yet revealed the complete hardware specifications, including RAM and storage variants.

One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6x will be its 7,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries offered in its segment. According to the company, the handset can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge. OnePlus also claims users can expect up to 20.56 hours of video playback, 133.56 hours of music playback, 25.04 hours of social media usage or 11.26 hours of video recording, positioning the N6x as a battery-focused smartphone for users seeking extended endurance.
