Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro's Specs Leak Just Weeks Before Launch

Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro's Geekbench listing reveals key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform ahead of its anticipated launch, revealing key hardware specifications and indicating that the smartphone's debut could be imminent. The latest listing follows earlier appearances on Samsung India's website, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification portal and the Bluetooth SIG database, further suggesting that the company is preparing to introduce the handset in the Indian market soon.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro, carrying the model number SM-E476B, is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone is listed with 8GB of RAM and Android 16, recording a single-core score of 998 and a multi-core score of 3,090. The benchmark also identifies the motherboard codename as "parrot," while the CPU configuration and Adreno GPU align with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which recently debuted on the Samsung Galaxy M47.

Previous reports suggest the Galaxy F70 Pro could feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to house a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. For photography, the handset is tipped to include a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), alongside additional sensors for enhanced imaging capabilities.

The upcoming smartphone is also expected to offer several premium features, including NFC support, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the Galaxy F70 Pro is likely to ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Samsung is also tipped to provide up to six years of Android OS upgrades, extending long-term software support for the device.

Design leaks indicate that the Galaxy F70 Pro may feature a leather-like textured rear panel, continuing a styling approach adopted by several recent Galaxy F-series smartphones. The handset is also expected to be positioned in the upper mid-range segment, with earlier reports suggesting a starting price of around Rs. 32,999 in India, although Samsung has not officially confirmed the pricing.

While Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date, the smartphone's appearance across multiple certification platforms and benchmarking databases points to an imminent unveiling. More details, including the final specifications, pricing and availability, are expected to be revealed by the company in the coming weeks.
