OnePlus N6x India Launch Date Announced After Design And Colour Reveal

OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus N6x will be launched in India on July 31 at 12 pm IST, expanding its newly introduced N series smartphone lineup. The upcoming handset will be the second model in the series, which recently replaced the Nord lineup as the company's most affordable smartphone range in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has also revealed key design elements and confirmed the device's colour options through its official microsite and Amazon listing.
The company confirmed that the OnePlus N6x will be available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue colour variants. Promotional images show the smartphone featuring a flat textured rear panel with a centrally placed OnePlus logo and a pill-shaped rear camera module. The device appears to include a single rear camera accompanied by a secondary cutout, likely for an additional sensor, along with an LED flash. Physical buttons, including the power key and volume controls, are positioned on the right edge, while a 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the top.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the smartphone will be sold through Amazon India and the company's official online store following its launch. While the company has yet to disclose the complete specifications, it has indicated that the handset will offer familiar features and hardware. Based on its design, the OnePlus N6x closely resembles the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite, suggesting that it could target users looking for an affordable smartphone with practical everyday features.

The OnePlus N6x will join the OnePlus N6, which debuted in India on June 30 with a starting price of Rs. 22,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The N6 features a 6.75-inch HD LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset. It also packs an 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging.
With the introduction of the N series, OnePlus is strengthening its presence in India's competitive budget smartphone segment. The launch of the N6x is expected to provide consumers with another affordable option while continuing the company's strategy of offering feature-rich devices at accessible price points. Additional specifications, pricing details and availability are expected to be announced during the official launch event on July 31.
