UP Chief Minister Orders Quick Action Against Encroached Lands

Directs rapid land clearance and stern action against encroachers.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged officials to prioritize the immediate reclamation of land encroached upon by powerful individuals, ensuring it is returned to the poor, and to enforce strict legal measures against land-grabbers. Speaking during his Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath temple, where he interacted with approximately 200 citizens, Adityanath reaffirmed the state government's commitment to delivering justice and fostering prosperity for all.

Addressing the gathering outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan, the Chief Minister emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards exploitation, stating, "No one who tries to harass the weak will be spared. Such people must be taught a lesson under the law." He instructed officials to handle all petitions swiftly and satisfactorily, assuring attendees that no form of injustice would be tolerated.

In one instance, when a woman reported her land being illegally occupied by local strongmen, Adityanath promptly directed police and revenue officials to intervene and resolve the matter without delay.

Beyond land issues, Adityanath addressed other grievances, including requests for financial assistance for medical treatments. He assured those in need that funding would not hinder access to healthcare, ordering officials to accelerate the preparation of medical estimates and forward them to the state government for prompt approval. He also stressed the importance of transparency, fairness, and sensitivity in handling revenue and police-related cases.
