NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund Portal Opens, Candidates Must Update Bank Details By June 30
Candidates must submit bank details for NEET re-exam fee refunds.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the fee refund window for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, allowing eligible students to submit or update their bank account details for the refund process. According to the official notification, candidates must complete the online procedure by June 30, 2026, through the official NEET UG portal. The agency has urged students to provide accurate banking information to ensure the timely transfer of the refund amount and avoid unnecessary delays during processing.
To claim the refund, candidates are required to visit the official NEET UG website and log in using their application number and password. After logging in, they must complete OTP-based verification using their registered mobile number and email address before entering or updating their bank account details. Once the information has been carefully verified, candidates should submit the details online before the deadline. NTA has advised applicants to double-check their account number, IFSC code, and other banking details, as any errors could delay the refund process or lead to unsuccessful transactions.
The agency clarified that the fee refund facility is available only for eligible candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Students who fail to submit their bank account details by June 30 may experience delays in receiving the refund, as the processing of payments will depend on the information provided within the stipulated timeline. Candidates are therefore encouraged to complete the formalities well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or discrepancies. NTA has also advised students to keep a copy of the confirmation page or acknowledgment after successfully submitting their details for future reference.

In addition to opening the refund window, NTA has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, which was conducted on June 21, 2026. Candidates can download the provisional answer key from the official website and compare it with their responses to estimate their probable scores. The answer key challenge facility is currently open and will remain available from June 25 to June 28, 2026, until 11:50 pm. Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional key can submit objections by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question along with supporting documents to justify their claims.
The National Testing Agency is expected to review all objections received during the challenge window before preparing the final answer key. Once the evaluation process is completed, the final answer key and NEET UG 2026 re-examination results are expected to be announced on the official portal. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for the latest updates regarding the refund process, answer key challenges, and result declaration. Completing the bank detail submission within the prescribed timeline and carefully following all official instructions will help ensure a smooth refund process and avoid delays in receiving payments.
