India Strikes Key Lahore Location! Destroys Pak Air Defence System

Indian Army Thwarts Pakistan’s Attack on 15 Regions, Retaliates with Precision Strikes

The Indian Army successfully neutralized Pakistan’s attempted strikes on 15 regions across northern and western India, including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, on the night of May 7-8, according to a Press Information Bureau (PIB) release.

Pakistan deployed drones and China-supplied Beyond Visual Range (BVR) missiles, which were intercepted by India’s Integrated Counter UAS Grid and S-400 air defense systems. Debris from the failed offensive is being recovered, confirming Pakistan’s actions.

In retaliation, the Indian Armed Forces targeted air defense systems in Pakistan, including neutralizing a key system in Lahore, matching the intensity of Pakistan’s aggression.

The response was precise and confined to the same domain, the Army stated.

Pakistan intensified unprovoked shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar, and Rajouri, using mortars and heavy artillery, killing 16 civilians, including three women and five children. India’s forces responded effectively to halt the hostile fire.

The Army reiterated its commitment to non-escalation, provided Pakistan reciprocates, emphasizing that Operation Sindoor’s strikes on nine terrorist sites were measured and avoided Pakistani military targets. However, it warned that attacks on Indian military installations would prompt a proportionate response.

The successful defense and retaliation underscore India’s robust security apparatus and resolve to counter terrorism and aggression while maintaining restraint to prevent broader conflict.
