Big Relief For Job Seekers as UP Home Guard PET Dates Announced

UP Home Guard PET for 41,424 posts to be held September 8-15.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the schedule for the Physical Efficiency Test for candidates shortlisted for 41,424 Home Guard posts. The PET will be conducted from September 8 to September 15 as part of the Home Guard Recruitment 2025 process. Candidates who successfully cleared the written examination will now have to appear for the physical test to continue in the selection process.

The recruitment board has also kept September 16 as a reserve day for the physical test. The additional day may be used if the scheduled examination is disrupted because of an emergency or other unforeseen circumstances. Candidates should therefore carefully check their individual schedule and remain prepared for any instructions issued by the recruitment authorities regarding their PET.

The PET will be conducted at designated centres across Uttar Pradesh during the scheduled period. Candidates who have qualified for the written examination will be required to participate according to the date and venue assigned to them. Details regarding individual test centres, reporting times and other instructions will be communicated through the admit card, making it important for candidates to download and verify the document before travelling to the examination centre.

The UPPRPB has stated that PET admit cards will be made available approximately seven days before the respective examination date. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards through the official recruitment board website using the required login credentials. They should check the document carefully for their examination date, reporting time, venue and other instructions, and immediately seek clarification from the board if they find any discrepancy.

The physical efficiency test represents the next major stage in the recruitment process after the written examination. Candidates who cleared the written test should ensure that they understand all requirements mentioned in the official instructions and arrive at their assigned centre with the necessary documents. Since candidates may be scheduled on different days, they should rely on their individual admit cards rather than assuming that all applicants will be tested on the same date.

The recruitment board has advised candidates to regularly monitor its official website for further notifications concerning the Home Guard selection process. Important instructions, changes to the schedule and other updates will be communicated through official channels. Candidates have also been advised to avoid relying on unverified information circulating on social media and other unofficial platforms as they prepare for the PET.
