Arunachal CM Honors 140 New Civil Servants, Hails Their Dedication

CM urges new officers to serve with integrity and empathy.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu felicitated 140 candidates who successfully cleared the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) 2024 during a ceremony in Itanagar on September 10. The event celebrated the new recruits, who will fill various Group A and Group B posts within the state government, marking their entry into public service.

Addressing the gathering, Khandu congratulated the candidates for their perseverance and dedication, emphasizing that public service is a noble mission rooted in responsibility, not power. “We are to serve, not to rule. Our duty is to uplift communities, solve problems, and lead with empathy,” he said, urging the appointees to prioritize humility and a people-first approach in their roles.

The Chief Minister extended special recognition to eight candidates with disabilities who qualified, calling their achievement a “beacon of hope” for others facing challenges. “Your success proves that with hard work, nothing is impossible,” Khandu posted on X. He expressed confidence in the group’s potential to drive positive change, stating, “We are proud to welcome you into the government and look forward to the positive impact you will make.”
