Marvel Fans Set to Relive Avengers: Endgame's Epic Battle on Big Screen Again
Avengers: Endgame Encore returns to cinemas with new Doomsday footage.
Marvel fans in India will get another opportunity to experience Avengers: Endgame on the big screen as Marvel Studios brings an extended theatrical version of the 2019 blockbuster to cinemas on September 25. Titled Avengers: Endgame Encore, the re-release will be available across India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The return comes ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, the next major chapter in the franchise, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 18, 2026.
The Encore release is designed to offer more than a straightforward repeat theatrical run. The extended version will feature additional material and a new presentation that connects the events of Endgame with the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. Marvel Studios is also expected to give audiences an exclusive glimpse of the forthcoming film, adding another incentive for fans who have already watched the original multiple times.
The re-release will have a runtime of approximately 185 minutes, making it around four minutes longer than the original theatrical version. Among the additions is a custom introduction and new material related to Avengers: Doomsday. A post-credits end tag will also be included, providing a direct link between Endgame and the next phase of the Avengers storyline.

The theatrical experience will also be expanded through premium formats. Avengers: Endgame Encore will be screened in IMAX theatres as well as venues certified under Marvel Studios Presents INFINITY VISION. The new Premium Large Format certification is intended to offer audiences larger screens, brighter visuals and enhanced sound, giving the film a more immersive presentation.
The timing of the re-release is significant as Marvel prepares audiences for Avengers: Doomsday. The upcoming film is scheduled for release on December 18 and is expected to continue the broader Avengers storyline. By placing additional Doomsday-related material within the Endgame Encore release, Marvel is giving viewers a theatrical bridge between the previous Avengers chapter and the upcoming film.
For Indian Marvel fans, the September 25 release will therefore provide a chance to revisit one of the franchise's most significant films while also receiving new material connected to its next major instalment. With multiple language options, IMAX screenings and additional Doomsday footage, the Encore edition is positioned as a fresh theatrical experience rather than simply a repeat screening of the original 2019 release.
