Actor Kartik Aaryan visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain with his parents days after receiving his first National Film Award. The actor offered prayers at the revered shrine and participated in the sacred Shayan Aarti, seeking blessings from Baba Mahakal as fans celebrated his major career milestone.
Kartik shared a picture from his temple visit on social media, showing him standing with folded hands with the temple premises in the background. Videos and images from the visit showed the actor praying in the Nandi Hall and participating in rituals inside the temple complex. Dressed in a simple outfit, Kartik appeared deeply engaged in the spiritual proceedings.
The temple visit came shortly after Kartik was announced as the Best Actor award winner for his performance in the sports drama film Chandu Champion. The achievement marked his first National Film Award and became a significant moment in his acting career, with appreciation coming from fans and industry members.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Chandu Champion is based on the inspiring life journey of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist. The film portrays Petkar’s struggles after suffering serious injuries during the 1965 India-Pakistan war and his determination to overcome challenges and achieve sporting glory.
Kartik was last seen in the romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri alongside Ananya Panday. The actor continues to have several projects lined up, including the fantasy entertainer Naagzilla and an upcoming untitled musical romance directed by Anurag Basu, featuring Sreeleela.
