Avengers: Doomsday Will Deliver, Robert Downey Jr Assures Fans of Quality

Actor Robert Downey Jr has expressed confidence that Avengers: Doomsday will live up to fans' expectations, saying the upcoming Marvel blockbuster has been carefully developed to avoid the challenges that often come with following hugely successful films such as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The veteran actor shared his optimism ahead of the film's worldwide theatrical release in December.

Downey, who became synonymous with Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, across multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, is set to make a surprising return to the franchise. This time, however, he will portray the iconic Marvel villain Doctor Doom, marking a significant shift from the superhero role that helped define the MCU for more than a decade.

Speaking about the project, the actor said he believes audiences will not be disappointed despite the enormous expectations surrounding the film.
