Dhanush-Kriti Sanon’s "Tere Ishk Mein" Crosses Rs 30 Crore in Just Two Days at Box Office

Romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein impresses with strong box office collections, outpacing several recent releases.

The romantic drama "Tere Ishk Mein," starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, continues to draw audiences as it reaches a noteworthy milestone at the box office. Released on November 28, the film has earned Rs 33 crore within its first two days, showcasing steady growth from its opening day collection of Rs 16 crore to Rs 17 crore on Saturday. This strong reception positions the film ahead of several recent contenders in the industry.

Directed by Aanand L Rai and produced by major banners including T-Series, Colour Yellow Productions, and Gulshan Kumar, the movie weaves an intense love story centered on Mukti (played by Kriti Sanon) and Shankar (played by Dhanush). Mukti’s budding affection for the rebellious and impulsive Shankar sets the stage for a turbulent narrative. Their relationship faces upheaval, leading Shankar to a path of heartbreak and vengeful resolve, driving the emotional core of the film.

"Tere Ishk Mein" has already surpassed the lifetime box office collections of Kangana Ranaut’s "Emergency," which recorded Rs 23.75 crore, indicating its strong commercial potential. While the film still trails behind Shahid Kapoor’s "Deva," which earned Rs 55.8 crore, the sustained audience interest suggests it could continue to climb higher in the coming weeks.

Backing the film’s appeal is the acclaimed music composed by AR Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, which complements the film’s emotional highs and lows. The combined star power, compelling narrative, and popular soundtrack contribute to the film’s solid performance, marking it as one to watch this season.

As "Tere Ishk Mein" continues to captivate moviegoers, anticipation builds for how much further it can advance at the box office amidst fierce competition in the romantic drama genre.
