Masti 4 Nears Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur Total After Dismal Week 1: Full Box Office Breakdown
Masti 4 struggles at the box office, trailing 120 Bahadur in first week collections.
Masti 4, the latest adult comedy in the franchise starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani, wrapped its first week with Rs 12.89 crore net in India, trailing rival 120 Bahadur's Rs 14 crore in just six days.
Released on November 21, 2025, across 2200+ screens, the film opened to Rs 2.75 crore on Friday but stagnated at the same on Saturday, inching to Rs 3 crore Sunday for a weak weekend of Rs 8.5 crore. Monday dropped sharply to Rs 1.50 crore, Tuesday held at Rs 1.6 crore, Wednesday fell to Rs 1.15 crore, and Thursday limped to Rs 0.11 crore amid poor word-of-mouth and mixed reviews criticizing the lackluster humor.
Farhan Akhtar's multiplex-targeted war drama 120 Bahadur outperformed expectations, crossing Rs 14 crore net by day six despite a smaller release, highlighting Masti 4's underperformance compared to predecessors like Grand Masti (Rs 102 crore lifetime). Trade analysts note the franchise's declining returns: original Masti earned Rs 20 crore, Great Grand Masti Rs 13.72 crore, with this installment ranking low among adult comedies.

The plot follows the trio—Amar, Meet, and Prem—navigating marital boredom through extramarital escapades, joined by Arshad Warsi, Nargis Fakhri, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Natalia Janoszek. With a reported budget around Rs 80 crore including P&A, worldwide collections stand at Rs 14.75-15 crore (India gross Rs 13.65 crore, overseas Rs 1.1 crore), signaling a potential flop verdict.
Overseas markets added modestly (US Rs 57,875 opening, UK £17,847), but domestic footfalls hit a franchise low of 1.5 lakh tickets on day one. Producers eye OTT recovery, though competition from stronger content may cap its run.
