Baleno Fans Rejoice As Maruti Suzuki Confirms September 5 Facelift Launch

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the facelifted Baleno will launch in India on September 5, 2026, bringing an updated version of its premium hatchback to the market ahead of the festive season. The refreshed model is expected to receive changes to its exterior design, features and cabin presentation, while the mechanical package is likely to remain largely unchanged. The update will be aimed at keeping the Baleno competitive in India's premium hatchback segment. The current Baleno belongs to the model's second generation, which was introduced in 2022. With the facelift, Maruti Suzuki is expected to give the hatchback a visual and equipment update rather than introduce a new generation.
