Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Launched With New Colours, Features And Price Details

Maruti updates Brezza with new features and styling.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the facelifted version of its popular compact SUV, the Brezza, in India with updated styling, new features, and enhanced safety equipment. The refreshed model continues to compete in the highly competitive sub-4-metre SUV segment against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Skoda Kushaq. Bookings for the new Brezza facelift are now open through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena dealership network with a token amount of ₹11,000.

The updated Brezza will be available in four variants — LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+ — following the company’s existing variant structure. The facelift comes with a higher price positioning compared with the outgoing model, which was priced between ₹8.26 lakh and ₹13.01 lakh (ex-showroom), due to the addition of new features and upgraded equipment. The company has also introduced an updated colour palette with refreshed shade options to enhance the SUV’s visual appeal.

The new Brezza retains its familiar upright SUV design but receives several cosmetic changes. The front profile has been updated with a redesigned grille, revised bumper, and refreshed headlamps with updated LED daytime running lights. The SUV also gets new alloy wheels and revised rear styling, including updated tail-lamp elements, giving it a more modern appearance while maintaining its existing design identity.

Inside the cabin, the Brezza facelift continues with a black-and-brown dual-tone theme while adding several premium features. The SUV now comes with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in applications, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Alexa connectivity, ventilated front seats, and a gloss-black steering wheel insert. Other additions include an auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, 360-degree camera, redesigned centre armrest with storage, and front parking sensors.

Safety equipment has received a major upgrade in the facelifted model. The new Brezza comes with six airbags as standard, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, and reverse parking sensors. Additional safety features include blind spot warning, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, tyre pressure monitoring system, emergency stop signal, rear defogger, and front parking sensors. The SUV has also received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is expected to continue with multiple powertrain options, including the 1.5-litre K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 103 hp and 139 Nm of torque, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 110 hp and 170 Nm, and a CNG variant with an underbody-mounted cylinder for improved boot space. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic for petrol versions, while the CNG model will be available with a manual gearbox.
