Fardeen Khan's Maruti Jimny Gets Matte Black Wrap, New Grille and Bumper

Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan has been seen driving a customised Maruti Suzuki Jimny featuring several subtle exterior modifications. Known for films such as No Entry and Heyy Babyy, Khan appears to have personalised the compact off-road vehicle without substantially altering its original character, giving it a more distinctive appearance than the standard version sold in India.

The most noticeable change is an apparent matte-black wrap covering the vehicle’s exterior. Maruti Suzuki offers the Jimny in shades including Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, Pearl Arctic White, Granite Grey, Sizzling Red and Kinetic Yellow, along with selected dual-tone options. Since a factory-produced matte-black finish is not available, the wrap gives Khan’s vehicle a unique and understated look.

The standard vertical-slat grille appears to have been replaced with a honeycomb-patterned unit resembling versions used on some international Jimny models. The front bumper also seems to be an aftermarket component featuring a more rugged design, an integrated bash plate and matching honeycomb detailing. Yellow fog lamps further distinguish the modified vehicle’s front profile.

Metallic-looking garnishes have been added around the front bumper, outside rear-view mirrors and doors, creating visual contrast against the dark bodywork. The SUV also appears to use wider tyres than the standard 195/80 R15 units. Its wheels were not clearly visible, making it difficult to confirm whether the original steel or alloy wheels had also been replaced.

No mechanical changes were visible or confirmed. The standard Indian-specification Jimny uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing approximately 105 horsepower and 134.2 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission, while Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case is standard across the range.

The Jimny is priced between ₹12.39 lakh and ₹14.52 lakh, ex-showroom, according to the reported figures. Despite its compact dimensions, it is recognised for its ladder-frame construction, rigid-axle suspension, 210 mm ground clearance and off-road capability. Although domestic demand has remained limited compared with expectations, the India-built Jimny continues to serve overseas markets as an important export model.
