Bajaj Adventure Bike Spotted Testing, Expected To Compete With Hero Xpulse 210

Bajaj adventure bike spotted testing, likely rival to Hero Xpulse 210.

Bajaj Auto’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has once again been spotted testing on Indian roads, offering fresh insights into what could become the company’s most affordable entry in the growing adventure touring segment. The heavily camouflaged test mule suggests that development is progressing steadily, with the production model expected to target the entry-level ADV category currently dominated by rivals like the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX230.

The latest spy images reveal a design that leans strongly toward a rugged, dual-sport aesthetic. The motorcycle features a tall front beak, compact bikini-style fairing, high-mounted front fender, fuel tank extensions, and an upswept exhaust layout. These design cues collectively indicate a machine built with off-road intent while retaining road usability, positioning it as a practical all-rounder for new adventure riders.

In terms of ergonomics, the test bike appears to offer an upright riding posture designed for long-distance comfort. The seating layout includes a long single-piece seat with adequate space for a pillion rider, suggesting that Bajaj is aiming to balance touring capability with everyday practicality. This configuration is typically preferred in entry-level ADV motorcycles that cater to both urban commuting and weekend exploration.

The suspension setup is another key highlight of the upcoming model. Spy shots indicate long-travel suspension components, with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock arrangement. This setup is expected to enhance ride quality over uneven surfaces, making the bike suitable for broken roads and light off-road trails, which are common in semi-urban and rural regions across India.

The motorcycle is also seen riding on wire-spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose tyres, reinforcing its adventure-focused positioning. Reports suggest a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel configuration, a standard setup in this segment that provides a balance between stability on highways and control on rough terrain.

On the mechanical front, industry speculation indicates that Bajaj could equip the motorcycle with the 249cc powertrain derived from the Pulsar N250, though official confirmation is still awaited. If true, this would give the bike a strong performance base in the sub-250cc ADV category. With increasing interest in affordable adventure motorcycles in India, Bajaj’s entry could intensify competition and expand options for riders seeking a capable yet budget-friendly touring machine.
