Vivo's New Budget 5G Phone Raises The Bar on Battery and Performance
Vivo T5 Lite 5G leaks with 6,500mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity processor.
Vivo is reportedly preparing to expand its T5 series lineup in India with the upcoming Vivo T5 Lite 5G, a budget-oriented smartphone expected to bring a large battery and competitive specifications. The device is likely to join the existing T5 series, which already includes models such as the Vivo T5 Pro 5G and other recently launched variants in global and Indian markets.
According to leaked information, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to feature a massive 6,500mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge fast charging. Despite the large battery capacity, the device is said to maintain a relatively slim profile, measuring around 8.39mm in thickness and weighing approximately 209 grams. The focus appears to be on balancing endurance with portability for everyday users.
The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and gaming performance. In addition, the display may reach a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits in High Brightness Mode, which could improve outdoor visibility under direct sunlight conditions.

Under the hood, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The device may come in multiple configurations, including 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and a higher variant offering 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. These options suggest Vivo is targeting entry-level and mid-range smartphone buyers.
While the company has not officially confirmed the launch date, the leaked specifications indicate that Vivo is preparing to strengthen its budget 5G lineup in India. If the rumours hold true, the T5 Lite 5G could appeal to users seeking long battery life and smooth performance at an affordable price point.
