Samsung Galaxy A18 Price And Specifications Reportedly Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Samsung’s Galaxy A18 4G is reportedly the subject of another price and specifications leak, with the latest report suggesting a lower price than previously tipped and revisions to some of its expected hardware. The information is based on the French market and may not reflect the configuration Samsung eventually launches in other regions. Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy A18 or announced its launch date.

According to a Dealabs report, the Galaxy A18 4G could be priced at EUR 279 in France, equivalent to roughly Rs. 30,900. The reported price is EUR 20 lower than the EUR 299 figure mentioned in earlier leaks. The French variant is expected to feature 128GB of storage, while a 256GB version could reportedly be offered in select other markets. The phone is tipped to arrive in Black, Light Blue and Silver colour options.

The Galaxy A18 4G could feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1,080x2,340-pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The latest leak points to an octa-core Exynos 1610 chipset based on a 5nm process, with clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz. The smartphone is also tipped to run Android 17 and could receive up to six generations of operating system and security updates.

The processor information differs from an earlier leak, which had suggested that Samsung could use the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The reported configuration is expected to include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while a microSD card could reportedly expand the available storage by up to 2TB. These differences indicate that some specifications may still change before Samsung officially introduces the device.

For photography, the Galaxy A18 4G is expected to feature a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera is also tipped for selfies and video calls. The combination would position the device as a budget-focused smartphone with a mix of standard and secondary imaging capabilities.

The Galaxy A18 4G could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging. Connectivity options are expected to include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port, while an IP64 rating could provide protection against dust and splashes. The handset is reportedly expected to measure 164.4x77.9x7.7mm and weigh 196 grams, slightly heavier than the 193-gram figure cited in the earlier leak.
