Samsung Brings Galaxy A57 5G And A37 5G to India With Six Years of OS Updates

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G launch in India tomorrow.

Samsung is set to expand its Galaxy A-series lineup in India with the expected launch of the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G on March 25. While the company has not officially confirmed the model names, multiple leaks and reports suggest that the two smartphones will debut at an event scheduled for 5:30 PM IST. The upcoming devices are anticipated to succeed the existing Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 models and will likely be available through major online platforms, including Amazon and Samsung’s official website shortly after launch.

According to early reports, both the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are expected to feature a refreshed design language, including flat displays and a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout for the front camera. The devices may adopt Samsung’s “Key Island 2.0” design, with slightly raised power and volume buttons for improved usability. Renders indicate a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the rear panel, maintaining continuity with the brand’s recent design trends.

In terms of display, both smartphones are likely to sport a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The Galaxy A57 5G is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, while the Galaxy A37 5G may feature the Exynos 1480 processor. Both devices are anticipated to run on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5 interface, with the company reportedly offering up to six years of software updates, enhancing long-term usability.

Camera capabilities are expected to remain a key focus, with both models likely to include a triple rear camera system comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The setup may support 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. For selfies and video calls, the smartphones are expected to feature a 12-megapixel front-facing camera, aligning with current mid-range standards.

Battery performance is also expected to be consistent with previous models, as both devices are rumored to include a 5,000mAh battery. Additionally, they may support 45W wired fast charging, enabling quicker power replenishment. These specifications suggest that Samsung is aiming to deliver balanced performance and efficiency in its upcoming mid-range offerings.

As for pricing, the company has not made any official announcements yet, but leaks suggest that the Galaxy A37 5G could be priced at approximately ₹39,000 for the base variant, while the Galaxy A57 5G may start around ₹44,000 globally. Indian pricing is expected to fall within a similar range, positioning both smartphones competitively in the mid-premium segment. More details, including official pricing and availability, are expected to be revealed at the launch event.
