Poco X8 Pro And X8 Pro Max India Launch Leaked For Mid-March; Specs, Design and Benchmarks Revealed
Tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed the mid-March India launch timeline alongside early benchmark test results.
Poco is reportedly preparing to expand its X-series lineup in India with the imminent launch of the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. According to leaks and recent certifications, both devices could debut by mid-March, bringing notable upgrades in display, cameras, and battery capacity. Early benchmark results have suggested that the Pro Max variant could deliver flagship-level performance, positioning it as a strong contender in the upper mid-range segment.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) revealed on X that the Poco X8 Pro Max has already scored 3,612,095 on AnTuTu, indicating impressive processing power. This makes it likely that the device could compete with other high-performance smartphones in its price range. While Poco has not officially confirmed the launch date, the tip-off points to a mid-March debut, and the devices recently appeared in the TDRA database with model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G, confirming their identities as the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. Industry observers suggest that these models could be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro Max, which launched in China last month.
Leaked renders of the Poco X8 Pro show a flat matte back with subtly curved edges and a vertically aligned pill-shaped dual-camera module. The device is expected to come in black, white, and turquoise, featuring a flat display with slim bezels, a centred hole-punch cutout, and an orange-accented power button on the right. The Poco X8 Pro Max follows a similar design language, with slightly larger camera rings, hinting at upgraded camera hardware.

Specifications for the Poco X8 Pro include a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The device is expected to house a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The Poco X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, is likely to feature a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display, running on the Dimensity 9500s SoC. Its camera setup could include a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 600 sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8,500 mAh battery with similar fast charging capabilities.
These leaks suggest that the Poco X8 Pro series could bring strong performance, large batteries, and advanced camera systems to the Indian market, continuing Poco’s focus on high-value devices with flagship-level specifications at competitive prices. Consumers and tech enthusiasts are expected to keep a close watch for the official launch announcements and pricing details in the coming weeks.
