Oppo K14x 5G Packs 6,500mAh Battery and 50MP Camera Under Rs 15,000

Oppo has launched the K14x 5G in India as the latest budget offering under its K-series lineup, with a strong focus on battery life and everyday performance. The smartphone features a flat-edge design with a matte, glass-like rear panel and a pill-shaped camera module, while the front houses a punch-hole display. The device will be sold via Flipkart, where a dedicated product microsite has already gone live.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo K14x 5G starts at ₹14,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. A higher variant with 6GB RAM and the same storage capacity is priced at ₹16,999. As part of introductory offers on Flipkart, buyers can avail discounts of up to around ₹1,500, effectively lowering the initial purchase price for early customers.

Battery performance is positioned as the phone’s key highlight. The Oppo K14x 5G packs a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, and the charger is included in the box. According to the company, the handset can deliver up to 22.4 hours of video playback or around 11.1 hours of gaming on a single charge, targeting users who prioritise long-lasting battery life.

The smartphone sports a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, aimed at smoother scrolling and app usage. The panel offers a peak brightness of up to 1,125 nits, improving outdoor visibility, and the device carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. For photography, it features a 50MP AI-backed primary rear camera, paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor, while a 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Powering the Oppo K14x 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. Measuring 8.6 mm in thickness and weighing about 212 grams, the device is available in Prism Violet and Ice Blue colour options.
