Oppo F33 Series India Launch Confirmed With 50MP Cameras, AI Features

Oppo F33 series launches April 15 with AI cameras and large battery.

Oppo is set to expand its popular F-series lineup in India with the launch of the Oppo F33 and Oppo F33 Pro on April 15, according to multiple reports and industry listings. The upcoming smartphones are expected to target the competitive mid-range segment, building on the success of earlier F-series models focused on design, battery life, and camera performance.

The Oppo F33 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz–144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals for gaming and everyday use. It is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage in the base variant. The device may also include a 50MP primary rear camera and a high-resolution selfie camera, maintaining Oppo’s focus on photography-centric smartphones.

On the other hand, the Oppo F33 Pro is expected to be a more premium offering, with upgrades in performance and battery capacity. Reports suggest it could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also tipped to include a large battery, potentially around 8000mAh, with fast charging support, along with a 50MP camera setup.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo F33 is expected to start at around ₹23,000–₹26,000, while the F33 Pro could be priced between ₹27,000 and ₹32,000, placing both devices firmly in the mid-range category. These price points would position the phones against strong competition from brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung in India’s crowded smartphone market.

The launch comes as Oppo continues to strengthen its F-series portfolio in India, which traditionally emphasizes stylish design, strong battery life, and camera performance for younger consumers. The new F33 lineup is expected to carry forward this strategy, potentially adding improved processing power and larger batteries to meet evolving user demands.

While the April 15 launch is anticipated, it is important to note that several specifications remain based on leaks and early listings. Official confirmation from Oppo during the launch event will provide clarity on final features, pricing, and availability.
