Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Certified in China With 90W Charging
Motorola Edge 70 Ultra spotted on 3C with 90W fast charging support.
Motorola’s upcoming premium smartphone has reportedly surfaced on China’s 3C certification database, offering fresh insight into its charging capabilities. The listing confirms support for high-speed wired charging and approval for use in the Chinese market. This development strengthens speculation that Motorola is nearing the official launch of its next Ultra-branded device.
According to a report by The Tech Outlook, the handset carries the model number XT2603-1 and has received 3C certification as a 5G mobile phone. The device is listed alongside a charging adapter capable of delivering 90W fast charging, placing it among the fastest-charging Motorola smartphones to date. The certification is said to remain valid until June 12, 2029.
Based on Motorola’s previous naming conventions, the XT2603-1 is expected to debut in China as the Motorola X70 Ultra. For global markets, the same device is likely to be branded as the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. A related model number, XT2603-2, has also been spotted on the European EEC database, indicating a future rollout in international markets.

Earlier Geekbench listings have revealed several core specifications of the device. The smartphone is tipped to run Android 16 and could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Adreno 829 GPU. It is also expected to offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM, reinforcing its flagship positioning.
Meanwhile, signs of a broader premium smartphone launch are emerging in India. Flipkart has teased an upcoming Motorola Signature series via an app-only microsite, with more details expected soon. Industry leaks suggest that the Signature device could be the same phone previously rumoured as the Edge 70 Ultra, possibly rebranded for select regions.
Leaked renders of the Motorola Signature show a flat 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to feature a square rear camera module with a triple 50-megapixel setup, a metal frame, textured back panel, and premium colour options. With 90W fast charging now confirmed, more official announcements from Motorola are likely in the coming weeks.
