Motorola has expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup with the launch of the Moto G87, introducing significant upgrades in camera performance, display quality, and durability. The new device is positioned as a feature-rich offering in the G-series, with a strong focus on photography and performance improvements over its predecessor.

The highlight of the Moto G87 is its 200MP primary rear camera, which Motorola claims is the most advanced camera ever featured in its G-series lineup. The sensor comes with optical image stabilisation (OIS), supports 2x lossless zoom and up to 10x digital zoom, and is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, the device offers a 32MP front camera capable of recording up to 2K video.

On the performance front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs on Motorola’s Hello UI based on Android 16, aiming to deliver a smooth and updated user experience for mid-range buyers.
