OnePlus Nord 6 Features 50MP Dual Camera, 1.5K AMOLED Display, IP66-IP69K Rating

OnePlus is set to launch the Nord 6 in India soon, with the device available in Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver colourways through Amazon. In the lead-up to the unveiling, the company has been teasing key specifications and features. Recently, it confirmed the camera setup of the Nord 6 and revealed its durability ratings on a dedicated microsite, building anticipation ahead of the India launch in April. The handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

The Nord 6 will feature a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia primary sensor with 2x zoom, dual-axis optical image stabilization, and a multi-focus sensor. It will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera that offers a 112-degree field of view. On the front, the phone will sport a 32-megapixel multi-focus camera housed in a hole-punch cutout for selfies and video calls. The primary rear camera will support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

Durability-wise, the OnePlus Nord 6 has been confirmed to carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, ensuring robust protection against dust and water. The device will also feature a flat 1.5K AMOLED “Sunburst HDR” display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, peak brightness of 3,600 nits, and minimum brightness of 2 nits. The touchscreen supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming and Aqua Touch 2.0 technology, allowing use even with wet or damp fingers.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is slated for launch in India on April 7 at 7 pm IST, with pricing expected between ₹35,000 and ₹40,000. Fans can purchase the device exclusively via Amazon, and the smartphone promises a combination of high-end camera performance, display technology, and water and dust resistance, positioning it as a strong contender in the premium mid-range segment.
