Honor X7e Launched With 7,500mAh Battery and 50MP Camera: Price, Specs Inside

The Honor X7e packs a 7,500mAh battery, a 50MP camera, and Android 16 at Rs 29,000.

Chinese smartphone maker Honor has launched the new Honor X7e in select international markets, expanding its budget smartphone lineup with a device focused on battery life and everyday performance. The handset has debuted in Malaysia and is currently available for pre-order through the company’s official online channels. Honor is positioning the X7e as an affordable smartphone offering a large battery, high-refresh-rate display, and substantial storage capacity.

The Honor X7e is priced at MYR 1,199, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 29,000, and is available in a single configuration featuring 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Customers can choose between Midnight Black and Sunrise Orange color options. The launch adds another model to Honor’s X-series portfolio, which is primarily targeted at budget-conscious consumers seeking long battery life and essential smartphone features.

Running on Android 16-based MagicOS 10, the smartphone features a 6.61-inch HD+ TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,010 nits, and displays up to 16.7 million colors. Honor also claims the device comes with an IP64 rating, providing resistance against dust and water splashes, while aluminosilicate glass protection has been included to improve durability.

Under the hood, the Honor X7e is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 graphics unit. The chipset includes two performance cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz and six efficiency cores operating at 1.7GHz. Alongside 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, the device includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security and day-to-day convenience.

For photography, the smartphone carries a single 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and support for up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, users get a 5-megapixel camera designed for selfies and video calls. The handset supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution and includes software-based imaging features aimed at casual smartphone users.

One of the key highlights of the Honor X7e is its massive 7,500mAh battery, which is among the largest capacities currently available in mainstream smartphones. The battery supports 45W wired fast charging and is complemented by connectivity features such as 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Weighing approximately 207 grams, the device is designed to appeal to users prioritizing battery endurance, storage capacity, and reliable everyday performance in the budget segment.
