Honor X6e Brings Huge Battery Life to Budget Buyers

Honor has expanded its global smartphone portfolio with the launch of the new Honor X6e, a budget-focused 4G handset aimed at users seeking a large battery, smooth display and the latest Android software. The smartphone has debuted in select international markets, including Malaysia, where it is available in a single storage configuration. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, the Honor X6e combines entry-level hardware with features typically found in more expensive devices, including a 120Hz display and 45W fast charging.

The Honor X6e is priced at RM 699 (approximately Rs. 16,000) for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Buyers in Malaysia can choose between Midnight Black and Sunrise Gold colour options. The smartphone runs MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, making it one of the latest devices in its segment to ship with Google's newest mobile operating system out of the box. Honor has positioned the handset as a value-oriented offering for users looking for modern software and dependable everyday performance.

On the specifications front, the Honor X6e features a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,604 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,010 nits peak brightness for improved outdoor visibility. The display also supports Eye Comfort and Dynamic Dimming technologies to reduce eye strain during prolonged use, while aluminosilicate glass protection enhances durability. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra octa-core processor, paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Honor also offers a virtual RAM expansion feature, allowing the available memory to be extended up to 8GB for smoother multitasking.
