Galaxy S26 Series Expected Prices Revealed for US, India, UK, Europe, Canada

Global price leaks suggest mixed changes, with some models slightly higher than the previous generation.

Samsung's anticipated Galaxy S26 series is rumored to launch globally on February 25, 2027, fueling intense speculation about pricing amid escalating costs for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and NAND flash storage. Leaks from Swedish retailer Elkjøp, shared by reliable tipster Roland Quandt on WinFuture, suggest a base model price increase due to 256GB becoming the new entry-level storage—up from 128GB on the Galaxy S25. Meanwhile, the S26 Ultra could see a surprising €100 drop on lower variants, possibly to counter competition from Chinese rivals like Xiaomi and Oppo. These figures remain unconfirmed, but they align with Samsung's strategy to balance premium features like enhanced AI and camera tech with affordability.

In the United States, pricing is expected to mirror or slightly exceed the Galaxy S25 lineup, reflecting stable import duties and carrier subsidies. The base Galaxy S26 (256GB) is tipped at $799-$859, a potential $60 bump from the S25's $799 starting point due to doubled base storage. The Galaxy S26 Plus (256GB) may range from $999-$1,059, while the flagship S26 Ultra (256GB) holds at $1,299-$1,359—unchanged from last year. Higher storage tiers like 512GB and 1TB on the Ultra could push prices to $1,459 and $1,659, respectively, emphasizing Samsung's focus on value amid economic pressures.

UK consumers might see steady pricing, with the Galaxy S26 at around £859 for 256GB, matching the S25's trajectory despite a weaker pound. The S26 Plus is projected at £999 (256GB), and the S26 Ultra at £1,249 (256GB)—a modest hold amid post-Brexit VAT and import fluctuations. Leaks indicate 512GB upgrades at £1,099 for the base and £1,399 for the Ultra, with 1TB Ultra reaching £1,599. This consistency could appeal to loyalists, especially with rumored improvements in battery life and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 integration.

In India, where Samsung dominates the premium segment, prices are forecasted to rise modestly amid 18% GST and local manufacturing incentives. The Galaxy S26 (256GB) could start at Rs 80,999-Rs 89,999, up from the S25's Rs 79,999 due to storage boosts and rupee depreciation. The S26 Plus may hit Rs 99,999-Rs 1,09,999, while the S26 Ultra ranges from Rs 1,29,999-Rs 1,39,999 for 256GB—potentially undercutting rivals like Vivo X200. Upper variants, including 1TB Ultra at Rs 1,59,999, highlight Samsung's aggressive push in this price-sensitive market.

European pricing shows the most variance, per Elkjøp leaks converted from SEK. The Galaxy S26 starts at €1,049 (256GB) and €1,259 (512GB), a hike driven by EU tariffs on Asian components. The S26 Plus follows at €1,299 (256GB) to €1,449 (512GB). Notably, the S26 Ultra dips to €1,399 (256GB), €1,569 (512GB), and €1,809 (1TB)—€100 cheaper than S25 Ultra equivalents, possibly to offset a rumored pricier S Pen or advanced under-display camera. This could boost sales in competitive markets like Germany and France.

Canadian pricing aligns with North American trends, starting at CAD 1,200 for the Galaxy S26 (256GB), CAD 1,440 for the Plus, and CAD 1,920 for the Ultra—factoring in 13% HST and strong CAD. Compared to the S25's CAD 1,170 base, the uptick reflects storage upgrades and supply chain inflation. Higher configs like 1TB Ultra may exceed CAD 2,400. As launch nears, official confirmation could shift these estimates, but leaks suggest Samsung prioritizing accessibility for the Ultra amid flagship wars.
