Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé Score As Real Madrid Defeat Málaga 4-0 In La Liga

Bellingham scored one goal, created another, and was involved throughout as Madrid comfortably dispatched Malaga, who returned to La Liga this season after an eight-year absence from the top flight. Mbappé put the result beyond doubt before the half-hour mark, converting a volley from a cross delivered by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who made his first start of the season at right back.

Alexander-Arnold's inclusion came after new signing Denzel Dumfries had occupied the position in Madrid's opening two league fixtures, suggesting increased competition for places in Mourinho's backline. Bellingham continued to threaten throughout the match, striking the post and coming close again in the second half, before substitute Arda Güler completed the scoring late on, capitalizing on unselfish approach play from Vinícius Júnior. Left back Marc Cucurella, who joined Madrid from Chelsea in the offseason, also drew praise for his performance in his first start for the club.

Elsewhere in La Liga action over the weekend, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his strong start to the season, scoring again as Deportivo La Coruña defeated Valencia 3-1, securing the newly promoted side's first win since its return to the top division.
