Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Sophie attended the wedding reception of India spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika in Lucknow on Tuesday, adding star presence to the celebratory event.
Dhawan shared moments from the reception on Instagram, congratulating the newlyweds. “Congratulations to the beautiful couple… Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness,” he wrote, extending his wishes to Kuldeep and Vanshika.
Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika tied the knot on March 14 in Mussoorie, with close friends and family in attendance. Several well-known cricketers were spotted enjoying the wedding festivities, including Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, Yuzvendra Chahal and Rinku Singh.

The couple had earlier gotten engaged in a private ceremony in Lucknow last year, attended by close family members. Their wedding celebrations have since gained traction on social media, with several clips and photos going viral.
The wedding comes soon after India’s successful campaign at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, where the team clinched the title with a dominant win over New Zealand in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Although Kuldeep featured in just one match during the tournament, he made an impact with figures of 1/14 against Pakistan. Reflecting on the victory, he described it as a significant moment for the team, highlighting the effort and preparation that went into securing the title.
