India A vs Sri Lanka A: Match Details, Squads, And Streaming Info

India A faces Sri Lanka A in critical Tri-Nation Series match with all teams tied.

India A will take on Sri Lanka A in the fourth match of the Tri-Nation One-Day Series 2026 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Monday. The contest carries added significance as all three participating teams—India A, Sri Lanka A, and Afghanistan A—are currently level on two points each in the standings, making every remaining fixture crucial in the race for a place in the final. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. IST.

India A entered the tournament with an impressive eight-run victory over Sri Lanka A in their opening match. After suffering early setbacks with the bat, the Indian side recovered through a composed century from Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scored 101 runs off 114 deliveries. Captain Tilak Varma contributed a valuable 60, while late cameos from Ayush Badoni and Suryansh Shedge helped India A post a competitive total of 277 for six.

Sri Lanka A made a strong attempt to chase down the target, with Niroshan Dickwella and Avishka Fernando providing a solid start. However, India's spin attack turned the match in their favour. Ayush Badoni, Vipraj Nigam, and Anukul Roy claimed two wickets each, applying pressure during the middle overs and helping India A secure a narrow victory in a closely contested encounter.

India A, however, could not maintain their winning momentum in the second game, suffering a four-run defeat against Afghanistan A through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. Prabhsimran Singh led the batting effort with a quickfire 84, while teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi impressed with a 22-ball 44. Tilak Varma and Ruturaj Gaikwad also registered half-centuries as India A posted 349 for nine, but the match eventually slipped away under revised conditions.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka A bounced back strongly in the competition with a commanding eight-wicket victory over Afghanistan A. Opener Avishka Fernando starred with an unbeaten 108 off 79 deliveries and was named Player of the Match. His performance boosted Sri Lanka A's net run rate and strengthened the team's position ahead of another meeting with India A.

Fans will once again be closely watching Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, one of India's brightest young prospects, alongside experienced performers such as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Varma. The India A versus Sri Lanka A match will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network, while live streaming will be available through the SonyLiv website and mobile application. With qualification for the final still wide open, both sides will be aiming for a crucial victory in Dambulla.
