Arabian Aces Coach Lance Kluesner Confident His Squad Can Dominate Abu Dhabi T10

Arabian Aces head coach Lance Kluesner has backed his newly assembled squad to make an impact in their debut season of the Abu Dhabi T10, saying the team has the versatility and experience needed to handle the demands of the fast-paced competition. The tournament is scheduled to take place from November 7 to 20 at Zayed Cricket Stadium.

The Arabian Aces had already secured the services of Moeen Ali, Andre Russell and Liam Livingstone ahead of the player draft. They added several more recognised names during the draft in Abu Dhabi, including Sam Billings, veteran spinner Imran Tahir and fast bowler Richard Gleeson.

Kluesner said the team's recruitment strategy was designed to give the squad players capable of contributing in different situations. He stressed that the side needed cricketers who could perform with both bat and ball, particularly in a format where matches can change quickly and there is little time to recover from setbacks.

"T10 is an explosive format and is nothing like any of these players have played before barring here," Kluesner said. He added that the format demands innovation and strong problem-solving skills, expressing confidence that his players would take responsibility when required and deliver under pressure.

The Arabian Aces will enter the competition as a new franchise under a consortium led by British entrepreneur Pankaj Jain and global entrepreneur and investor Neeraj Jain. Their squad now combines established international names with players selected during the draft as the franchise prepares for its first appearance in the tournament.

With the competition returning to Zayed Cricket Stadium later this year, the Aces will look to translate their blend of experience and versatility into results during their debut campaign. Kluesner said the team was looking forward to getting started as it prepares for the unique demands of the 10-over format.
