Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin held interactions with traders and weavers during a campaign visit in Paramakudi, where he engaged with local stakeholders to discuss economic conditions, livelihood concerns, and ongoing government welfare initiatives.
As part of his outreach programme, Stalin met representatives from the trading community and traditional weaving groups, listening to their concerns regarding production costs, market access, and support for small and medium enterprises. The interactions were aimed at assessing ground-level challenges faced by key occupational groups in the region.
The visit also formed part of the ruling party’s broader campaign outreach across Tamil Nadu, where leadership has been engaging directly with various sections of society ahead of key political developments. Officials accompanying the Chief Minister highlighted ongoing schemes intended to support rural industries, artisan communities, and local trade networks.

He reiterated that inclusive growth remains a priority, with special attention to sustaining traditional livelihoods while improving market competitiveness.The interaction in Paramakudi is part of a series of constituency-level engagements aimed at reinforcing public outreach and gathering feedback on the implementation of government schemes across Tamil Nadu.
