NaMo App Hosts PM Modi Interaction With Assam And Puducherry Ahead Of Elections

PM Modi to interact with Assam and Puducherry voters via NaMo App ahead of Assembly elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to engage with voters and party workers in Assam and Puducherry on Monday through the NaMo App, as part of the outreach programme “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Samvaad.” The initiative aims to connect directly with grassroots workers and the public ahead of crucial Assembly elections in both regions.

According to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Assam unit, PM Modi will interact with participants from Assam at 1 P.M., addressing key issues related to the upcoming state polls. Later, at 5:30 P.M., he will engage with party workers and supporters in Puducherry, emphasising the achievements of the NDA government over the past five years.

In posts on the social media platform X, PM Modi highlighted Assam’s developmental progress over the past decade, noting growth across multiple sectors. He expressed confidence that voters would continue to support the “double-engine” NDA government in the upcoming elections, citing the administration’s focus on development and governance.

Regarding Puducherry, the Prime Minister stated that the NDA government has fulfilled the aspirations of the Union Territory in the last five years, a performance he suggested would translate into continued public support. “Over the last 5 years, the double-engine NDA Government has fulfilled the aspirations of the people of Puducherry. That is why the people of Puducherry are going to bless NDA yet again,” he said, confirming his participation in the virtual event at 5:30 P.M.

The digital interaction is part of a broader voter outreach campaign designed to energise party workers and strengthen voter connections through technology. Party officials see the programme as an opportunity for direct dialogue with citizens, enhancing engagement and awareness of government initiatives in both regions.

Earlier this month, on March 1, PM Modi dedicated several development projects in Puducherry and laid the foundation stone for initiatives worth over Rs 2,700 crore. During that event, he emphasised efforts to promote spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, and health tourism, highlighting the government’s strategy to boost Puducherry’s economic and social development.
