MK Stalin Confident DMK Alliance Will Win Over 200 Seats in Tamil Nadu Elections
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin predicts massive victory for DMK alliance.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin expressed strong confidence on Saturday that the DMK and its alliance partners will secure a resounding victory in the upcoming Assembly elections, potentially winning well over 200 seats. Speaking at a Pongal celebration event organised by Anitha Achievers Academy in Kolathur, he highlighted the party's extensive groundwork and impressive governance record over the past four-and-a-half years as the foundation for this optimism.
Stalin noted that even leaders and workers from rival parties, including the BJP, have privately acknowledged the DMK's superior organisational strength and disciplined work ethic. He emphasised that the dedication of party cadre is visible not just in Kolathur but across every district of Tamil Nadu. "Earlier I spoke of at least 200 seats for our alliance, but seeing your efforts, I am now convinced we will cross that figure," he declared.
The Chief Minister credited the Dravidian Model government, in power since May 2021, with implementing transformative welfare schemes and achieving key milestones in development. He urged party workers and supporters to actively communicate these achievements to the people, stating that it is their responsibility to ensure voters are fully aware of the government's performance.

He described the gathering as a crucial step to prepare workers for the intensive final phase of the campaign, encouraging them to remain focused and determined in the months ahead.
Concluding his address, Stalin extended warm Pongal greetings to all present and called upon DMK workers to take a solemn pledge for a massive victory for the alliance. His remarks reflected unwavering confidence in the party's organisational machinery and the strength of its welfare-oriented governance model.
