BJP Steps Up Bengal Push With Major Parivartan Yatra Rallies
The BJP schedules two-day Parivartan Yatra rallies across West Bengal ahead of elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lined up an intensive two-day outreach programme across West Bengal on March 1 and 2 under its Parivartan Yatra campaign. The party plans multiple public meetings between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm as senior union ministers and state leaders fan out across districts to mobilise support ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
On March 1, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to address a public meeting at the Sarbamangala Temple area in the Garbeta Assembly constituency of Jhargram district. Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari will also attend the programme, signalling the party’s effort to project organisational unity in the region.
The same day, the party will hold a Jan Sabha in the Purulia district featuring senior leaders including Annapurna Devi and Smriti Irani. Former state BJP president Dilip Ghosh is also expected to participate, with the gatherings aimed at energising booth-level workers and expanding the party’s grassroots outreach.
