In the Kolathur Assembly constituency, where Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is seeking re-election, AIADMK has fielded P. Santhanakrishnan, a former councillor. In Chepauk-Triplicane, the party has nominated Adhi Rajaram, a senior functionary who had previously contested against Stalin in 2021, this time challenging Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.

In the Harbour constituency, Royapuram R. Mano, AIADMK organising secretary, will contest against HR and CE Minister P.K. Sekarbabu. In other districts, former MLAs N. Murugumaran, M.S.R. Rajagopalan, and party functionary Thana Vimal have been fielded from Thittakudi (SC), Tiruchuzhi, and Alangudi respectively.

The AIADMK is contesting a total of 167 seats across Tamil Nadu, with minor allies also using the party’s Two Leaves symbol. Discussions with the state BJP are ongoing regarding the potential exchange of one or two seats to accommodate BJP leaders, as the party prepares for a crucial electoral battle against the ruling DMK-led alliance.
