UPSC Declares March 2026 Recruitment Results, Finalises Candidates Across Ministries

UPSC announces March 2026 recruitment results for multiple government posts.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the recruitment results for March 2026, finalising 14 recruitment cases across various central government ministries after completing interviews and assessment processes for technical, administrative, and specialised posts.

The results include appointments in several key ministries, with selected candidates being individually informed through official communication. The Commission also issued formal intimation to unsuccessful applicants, concluding the recruitment cycle for this phase.

In the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, candidates including Salman Khan, Mani Shankar Tripathi, and Aravind B. Rathod were recommended for the post of Technical Officer (Forestry) Grade II. Under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Prashant Bhimrao Dhanke was selected for the position of Professor (Chemical Engineering) at the National Sugar Institute in Kanpur.

The Ministry of Defence saw multiple recommendations, including Rakesh Roy for Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer and Pratima Sharma for Translator (Persian). In the Ministry of Labour and Employment, several candidates were selected for the post of Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Electrical), including Dev Kishan Sharma, Ashutosh Joshi, and P. Vijaya Prasad.

Under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Kandepu Swapna Sri was recommended for the position of Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) in the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, reflecting selections across both scientific and administrative domains.

However, the Commission noted that in certain categories, no suitable candidates were found. These include the unreserved post of Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering – Machine Design) at the College of Military Engineering, Pune, under the Ministry of Defence, as well as one reserved post for a person with benchmark disability in the Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical) category under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
